Arrival in Maun & Drive to Mokoro

Your Botswana holiday will start with a meet and greet in the airport with a staff member. You will have a quick brief about the trip. Depending on the time of arrival, you will either spend a night in Maun or drive straight to the Mokoro station where you will meet your guide, have a short brief about the area, and ride to the camping site using a Mokoro. There, you'll have dinner and sit around the fire for entertainment.

Bushwalking in Moremi & Dug Out Canoe Delta Experience

You'll wake up early and have your breakfast before you start your day with a bushwalking safari on the island where you can see animals including elephants, zebras, antelopes and various birds species. You will then enjoy the afternoon by the river banks on a traditional dugout canoe, discovering the best spots to see some wildlife in their natural habitat.

Game Drive from Moremi to Khwai

Today, you'll game drive from the Moremi Reserve campsite to your Xakanaxa campsite during the day. You will enjoy the sights and sounds of the Savannah game, as well as the birds bathing in the lagoon. As you approach the Xakanaxa campsite along the Kwai river, you'll begin to notice a great variety of flora and fauna in this greatly varied habitat of ancient riverine forest.

Drive Back to Maun, Sightseeing & Optional Scenic Flight

In the morning, you will pack up and get ready to leave the campsite. While travelling back to Maun on the cruisers, you can enjoy game viewing and landscaping as we head back toward the village. If you have time, there is an optional flying tour to get a totally different view of the reserve. This is your time to say goodbye, your driver will ferry you to the airport or transfer for your next destination.
