Day 1
Tam Coc Boat Ride and Bich Dong Pagoda

Upon arrival at the airport in Hanoi, you will be picked up and taken to Ninh Binh, where you will spend half of your 5-day Vietnam tour. In Tam Coc, you will take a unique boat tour on the river surrounded by limestone karsts, and you will see why this area is known as the Halong Bay on land. In the afternoon, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, a cluster of cave temples built by two Buddhist monks.

Day 2
Trang An Complex and Bai Dinh Pagoda

In the morning take a tour around Trang An Complex, where you will take a scenic boat ride and will get to admire the incredible landscapes of valleys and cliffs surrounding the water. After lunch, head to Bai Dinh Temple to visit Southeast Asia's largest Buddhist temple complex! The large grounds feature 300 steps that lead to the main prayer hall and a series of natural caves.

Day 3
Travel to Lan Ha Bay

In the morning you will make your way to your next destination: Lan Ha Bay, where you will hop aboard a cruise for the next three days. After getting comfortable on the boat and enjoying lunch, you will go on a small excursion to explore two beautiful caves in the area and also to enjoy some swimming. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese cooking class on the cruise.

Viet Hai Village and Kayaking in Ba Trai Dao

For the early risers, there will be an early morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck available for anyone to join and is a fantastic way to start the day. After breakfast, you will visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island, where you will go cycling and catch a glimpse of daily local life here. In the afternoon, visit the three islets of Ba Trai Dao for some swimming and kayaking amongst the stunning seascape.

After some early Tai Chi, on your last morning, you will visit the Tra Bau area, where you can take some kayaks onto the water and enjoy a thoroughly peaceful experience around the lush seascapes. You will also visit a fishing farm and chat with the resident fishermen in order to learn more about their life and how they work every day. After the tour, check out of the cruise and make your way back to the airport in Hanoi for your departure.
