This morning you will embark on a half-day cruise around the Bosphorus, a natural strait that separates Europe and Asia. On the cruise, you'll witness the dramatic sights that line the Bosphorus' wooded shores, from mosques to bridges to fortresses. After breakfast at your hotel today you have the full day at leisure to explore the city at your own pace. You may consider seeing the Asian Side of Istanbul by taking a ferry from the Old City to Kadikoy. You can wander around this modern neighbourhood and also spend some time in nearby Moda, which has a peaceful seaside promenade. Marmaray trains run from Sirkeci to Uskudar which connects the two sides of the Bosphorus.
