Beginning in the charming city of Kandy, you'll be enchanted by the tropical tea plantations and mountain scenery which will surround you. After visiting several sacred sites and must-see places in Kandy, you'll move onto the place known as 'Little England', Nuwara Eliya.

In Nuwara Eliya, you'll learn all about the country's rich cultural and natural heritage as you explore its unique colonial buildings and Georgian-style houses.

As you move onto Ella via an incredibly scenic train ride, you'll visit ancient cities, tea-growing hills and Indian Ocean beaches. You'll finish your trip in the capital city of Colombo where you'll learn more about Sri Lanka's rich colonial heritage and explore this lively city!

This morning, you'll be picked up by your driver and you'll drive throughout the day to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Kandy. The city's' heart is the scenic Kandy Lake, which is popular for strolling around and watching the locals go about their activities. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth shrine. You'll spend the afternoon exploring Kandy before checking into your hotel and having dinner.

Today, you'll travel to Nuwara Eliya, commonly known as Little England due to being extremely reminiscent of a typical English countryside town. You'll also visit the Ramboda Falls viewpoint, where the cascading water is a sight to behold. Once you reach Nuwara Eliya, you'll visit Gregory Lake and take in the lush scenery before checking in to your hotel and enjoying a dinner of authentic Sri Lankan tastes!

Experience the panoramic view from the highest mountain in Sri Lanka ‘Piduruthalagala Mountain’ before you head off on your scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, which is a small and quaint mountain village. Upon arrival, you'll climb Ravana Ella Caves, part of a network of caves said to be connected to the Ravana Ella Waterfall, to discover unseen history. You'll also walk to the top of Small Adam's Peak to see the view and beautiful sunset that never ceases to amaze visitors.

Today, you'll proceed to the rich colonial heritage port city of Colombo. En route, you'll visit the wide Ravana falls and see the water gushing down a concave rock. The city is a contrast itself, with mansions, lush gardens, temples, monuments and fine dining options. Once you arrive, you'll head to the Independence Square to soak up the history followed by the interesting Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, Galle Face Green and ODEL shopping complex, all with a local guide.

This is the last day of your 5 day Sri Lanka tour. You'll be transferred to theKatunayake International Airport by your guide and driver where they will wish you a pleasant journey and say ‘Ayubowan’ which is a Sinhalese traditional greeting meaning ‘may you long live’, commonly said upon departure.
