Day 2

We start your tours in Maderia in the centre of Funchal to visit the historical centre and traditional Farmer's Market that is a permanent exposition of flowers, vegetables, fruits and fish. After we continue to the village of Monte where you can enjoy might want to explore by hopping in the typical basket cars to go on a toboggan ride around the village to explore traditionally and in style! Visit a local winery to taste the wines of Madeira. Then, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

A full tour of the western part of Madeira, first visiting Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, with a stop in Ribeira Brava. We continue along the coast through the Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Prazeres and Fonte do Bispo towards Paul da Serra with a descent to Porto Moniz, famous for its volcanic pools where you'll have lunch. Return to Funchal through the north coast, through Seixal, S.Vicente, Rosario, Encumeada and back to the city.

We leave Funchal in the direction of Camacha, following the Poiso, and Pico do Arieiro, the second-highest peak of the island. Descend to Ribeiro Frio with the possibility of a 25-minute walk around the town. Depart to the north coast to Faial where we will have lunch. Then, travel to Santana to appreciate the culture and customs of this region. Return to Funchal, visiting, Porto da Cruz, Portela, and Machico on the way.

You'll have the day to explore Funchal at your own pace. Funchal is perfect for exploring on foot, where the cobbled stone streets and old churches tell tales of Portugal's exploring era. The Farmer's Market offers a little of Madeira's traditions which makes it great for becoming acquainted with the locals. You could finish the day by taking a stroll around the botanical gardens. In the evening dinner in a local restaurant to experience the Madeira gastronomy and dances together.
