Beginning in Cairo, you'll marvel at the last remaining wonder of the ancient world standing for nearly 4,000 years: the extraordinary Giza Pyramids. Accompanied by an Egyptologist guide, you'll get the best introduction into Egypt as you learn about its ancient history.

Leaving Cairo behind, you'll head to the great ancient city of Alexandria on Egypt's coast. Visit the impressive Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel, spending some time taking in the relaxing sea breeze.

Last but not least, you will visit Wadi Al-Hitan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its hundreds of incredibly well-preserved whale fossils and end your Egypt tour by camping under the stars in the Wadi Hitan Desert for a truly authentic Egyptian experience.

Welcome to Cairo, the mother of the world and your gateway to sun and fun. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by your guide and assisted with visa formalities and luggage collection. After, you will be transferred to your hotel. Your cosy hotel is located in a lovely green area of Cairo called Maadi, where you can go shopping or for a stroll. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore Cairo at your leisure; your guide will provide recommendations.

No Egypt tour is complete without a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. With over 120,000 artefacts, the museum houses an unbelievable exhibit depicting ancient Egypt's glorious reign. This morning, you'll leave Cairo behind and head to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to visit Alexandria, the ancient capital and the greatest city of Ancient Egypt. You'll visit the Library of Alexandria and spend the day enjoying the sea breeze. You'll also pay a visit to the citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean coast.

Today you will head to Fayoum, where you will enjoy hiking and camping at Wadi Al-Hitan, which is world-famous for its hundreds of incredibly well-preserved whale fossils. The site provides extensive evidence for one of the great mysteries on Earth: whales were once land-based animals and merged into an ocean-based mammal.
