Mount Emlembe and Mlilwane Game Drive

Enjoy an easy hike which weaves through beautiful grasslands, interspersed with rocky outcrops, flowing streams, waterfalls and small ponds. The more fit and energetic can hike Swaziland’s highest mountain, Emlembe, in the round trip that is approximately 3 hours long. Travel via the Ngwenya Glass Factory to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Swaziland’s pioneer conservation area.

Hlane Royal National Park
Close
Start off the day at the Manzini Market, then move onto the Swazi Secrets Factory. At Hlane Royal National Park you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants & rhinos. An ideal safari stop-over en route to Shewula. You'll arrive at the eco-tourism camp, the first of its kind in Swaziland and fully owned & run by the community. All buildings are made of local stone and have a thatched roof. You'll then finish up at the Hlane Royal National Park and head back to your hotel.

Mbuluzi Game Reserve

A morning walk into the reserve offers the most amazing views and a chance to get close to nature. Meals will be prepared by members of the community using local produce. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a walk around the village to be introduced to the residents of the nearby homesteads; be part of herding cattle in the late afternoon, visit the local school; go to the workshops, and just become part of the community in Shewula.
