After receiving you at Paro International Airport, our guide and driver will take you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. In the afternoon, you will visit historical, monumental and cultural sites of Thimphu, including a stop to explore the famous Tashicho Dzong. Later on, visit the arts and crafts village and take a leisurely stroll in the market.

Explore Thimphu by visiting various places of historical, traditional and natural interested. You'll go to as the National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Institute of Traditional Arts and Crafts to learn about the culture and artistry of Bhutan. Then you'll go to the Royal Takin Preserve to see the national animal - a curious creature. Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang and Buddha Point will introduce you to the Buddhist faith of Bhutanese people.

Day 3

Thimphu to Punakha

Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast, embark on an adventurous journey to Punakha, where history was created and re-enacted. En-route visit Dochula Pass to see the Himalaya mountain ranges from the viewpoint. A little further down, a stop will be made to visit Royal Botanical Park where we will have lunch. After arriving in Punakha, go on a short tour of the town, including the nunnery.

Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, visit the Punakha Dzong, a beautiful Dzong in Bhutan founded by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. En-route to Paro, pay a visit to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple with its interesting architectural style. We shall pass through Thimphu again before arriving Paro where we will spend the night. You'll be free to explore the town at your leisure.

Day 5

Paro Taktsang Hike, Tiger's Nest

Paro Taktsang Hike, Tiger's Nest

After breakfast, you'll be taken out of the city for about 20 minutes to the starting point of your hike to Paro Taktsang Monastery, founded on the cliff, one of the most iconic landmarks of Bhutan created by Guru Rinpoche. There is a cafeteria half-way that can be the mid-way point or final point of your hike. Afterwards, visit Paro Ta Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang. You'll be free to relax and recover from your hike in the evening.
