You'll wake up early this morning as your driver will be ready to pick you up at 3.30 in the morning to start your excursion to Borobudur Temple in Yogyakarta. As this is a popular tourist destination and one of the most sacred sights in Indonesia, it's best to enter early before everyone arrives! Later in the day, you will visit the Ulen Sentalu Museum, where you can learn about Javanese Royal families.

Today you will explore the surrounding areas with a visit to the Sultan's Palace, a central point for Javanese culture, the Taman Sari Water Castle; the former royal gardens and Prambanan Temple, one of the most significant religious sites in Indonesia, it's also the largest Hindu temple in the country, dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Transformer (Shiva).

Saying goodbye to the historical Yogyakarta, you will fly to the famous Island of Gods, Bali. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy the rest of your day by the poolside or on the beach. You will also have the evening to explore the nightlife and local food surrounding the area. Bali is very different from Java and you'll be able to observe some of the ways as soon as you arrive.

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple. To the south, the beachside city of Kuta has lively bars, while Seminyak, Sanur and Nusa Dua are popular resort towns where you can try your hand at surfing, kite surfing or snorkelling. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats. Today, you'll have the whole day free to spend as you wish.
