This morning, you'll proceed to see Brief garden after breakfast. Brief Garden is the legendary garden and country home of Bevis Bawa. The garden resembles a magical place from a fantasy novel and presents a wonderful space in which to lose yourself for a few hours especially if you have a keen interest in landscape design. Then you can go on a boat ride on the Madu River which is dotted with small islands and the banks which are covered with lush mangrove forests.

Relax at Unawatuna Beach

Unawatuna Beach is quite possibly one of Sri Lanka’s best. Palm trees and vegetation border one side while the sand and sea stretch out on the other. You can also visit Rumassala which was once called ‘Buono Vista’ owing to its terrific view. It is rich in biodiversity including coral reefs and purple-faced langurs, which are endemic to the country. You can also visit the jungle beaches where lush vegetation provides welcome shade and creates an idyllic environment for relaxation.
