Upon arrival at Frankfurt Airport, you will be transferred to Freiburg im Breisgau. Freiburg is the most southern located big city of Germany and the starting point for the Black Forest highlights. Its landmarks are the old town, the impressive cathedral and the unique “Bächle”. The remainder of the day you can spend at leisure.

You will start the day with a guided tour of the Freiburg farmer’s market. Every day except Sundays, the popular farmer’s market takes place in front of the cathedral. It's a great opportunity to try a large selection of food and check out the impressive composition of colours and smells. You should taste fresh regional products from around 100 regional direct producers. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to explore on your own.

Escape to Black Forest Countryside

Today is dedicated to the highlights of the Black Forest. During a full-day tour, your Balck Forest highlights guide will show you the traditional Black Forest farmhouses and the stunning countryside, pointing out the history and landscape along the scenic drive. You can stop at the open-air museum “Vogtsbauernhof” to experience how farmers and craftsmen lived during the past 400 years in the Black Forest. Afterwards, you can continue to the village of Triberg for lunch.
