5.0 • (1 review)

Trip Overview

During the whale shark season which lasts from May to September in Cancun, whale sharks feed on plankton in the water surrounding Isla Mujeres. During this exceptional 7-day wildlife excursion, you will have the opportunity to snorkel with these gentle giants and learn all about their behaviour and environment.

Over the last ten years, Cancun has become the best place to observe whale sharks. In a one-hour boat ride from Cancun, you can spot large groups of whale sharks. This tour will take you to the aquatic environment where the whale sharks feed four days in a row.

This Cancun whale shark tour is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the largest living fish species in the world, along with other species like manta rays, sea turtles and dolphins that also inhabit the same waters. On top of these wonderful experiences, you'll also swim in the incredible crystal clear waters of several cenotes and witness the amazing and colourful marine life at the coral reefs off Cancun's coast.
