Rabat's Mellah is in the heart of the city, a former protective area built for the Jewish people that was originally created as a place of safety and protection for the Jewish community. The first Mellah was built in the 15th century and in Rabat in 1808 which separated the population of Jewish and Muslim people who formerly living together. In the late afternoon, you'll arrive in Fes at the Palais Médina offering commanding views over the ancient medina or the luxuriant Andalusian gardens.

Today, you'll venture out of Fes to the city of Meknes. Here, you'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis, a 3rd-century BC Berber settlement which later became the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. The prosperous city fell and lay inhabited for 700 years. During French rule, the site was excavated revealed many fine mosaics and high-status houses, which were all restored or reconstructed.

Travel to the blue city of Morocco. Perched below the cliffs of the Rif mountain range, Chefchaouen is ideal for relaxing and wandering, taking in its wonderful laid-back ambience. Commonly known as the 'blue city', blue paint absolutely dominates this city - every doorway, wall, path and house is painted blue. Place Uta el-Hammam is the old centre of the town with a grand fountain. The medina has many charming, winding alleyways were you can shop for local leather crafts, woodwork and cloth.

This morning, you'll visit the Akchour Waterfalls with a variety of waterfalls. The hike to the upper waterfall is challenging but rewarding as you are greeted with a 100-metre tall waterfall tumbling down into the azure pool. Followed by the beautiful Andalusian Gardens, a tranquil green oasis, and the Ethnographic Museum, where you'll learn about the history and culture of this beautiful town. Late afternoon, you'll stroll to Chefchaouen's traditional souk and buy some local leather products.
