Get close to the borders of Nepal and India on one of the most scenic hikes there are!
Starting in the tea country of Darjeeling, you'll spend a week in the mountains where like does not really get more remote! Staying in small local teahouses, you'll make a gradual ascent to ensure that you are hiking safely before we make the greatest achievement of the trip, the ascent to the Singalilia Ridge where you'll see "the big 4" Everest in Nepal, Lhotse in Tibet, Makalu on the border of Tibet and Nepal and Kanchenjunga in Sikkim.
Hiking in India requires a moderate level of fitness and good level of health as this altitude is quite high.

Day 1
Arrival in Bagdogra

On your arrival, you will be greeted warmly by our representative, who will give you a short brief on the tour and hand you over the travel documents before taking you to the car. The journey runs on the traditional Hill Cart Road snaking its way through the Sal forests of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary and then slowly climbing up the hills to Kurseong – a tea-growing area dotted with lush green garden. Arrive and check into your hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2
Maneybhanjang to Tonglu
Close
After a leisurely breakfast, you will take a car to the local town of Maneybhanjang. From here your trek begins! Your trek begins in meadows which quickly lead to rhododendron forests. All of the way you will have epic views of Mount Kanchenjunga. You camp the night at Trekkers Hut in Tonglu. Here the view is nothing short of spellbinding.

Day 3
Tonglu to Sandakphu

The trail today will begin with an ascent. By midday, you will reach Jabari, where you stop for a tea break. Then, start ascending once again to Singalila Ridge. The trek is fairly short to give your body enough time to acclimatise. Have some rest, then head for the top of the Singalila Ridge! After 3 hours of trekking uphill you'll crest the ridge where you are rewarded with the most spectacular views. You will have the afternoon at camp to explore the area and find the best viewpoints.

Day 4
Sandakphu to Phalut
Close
Make sure you get up early to experience the beautiful sunrise over Kanchenjunga and get the star photo! After breakfast, you will make your way along the undulating ridge. The trail is not demanding and you will have plenty of time to admire the incredible views along the way. At midday you will arrive at Sabagram, where you have a lunch break, then continue to Phalut.

Day 5
Phalut to Rammam
Close
After your breakfast in Phalut, you will begin your descent from the ridge. You head east down through chestnut forests and rhododendrons all the while looking out for animals and birds. After several hours, depending on the weather this day, you will reach the lovely village of Rammam next to the river where you stay the night. Feel free to stroll around Rammam before settling down for an early night.

Day 6
Rammam to Sirikhola
Close
Today is a pleasant descent through farmland and beautiful forests. After crossing over the Sirikhola river you break for lunch. On reaching Sirikhola, there will be a car waiting for us to drive to Darjeeling which will take around 4 hours. You have a relaxed evening in the hotel or you can also explore the market in the evening.
