Start with the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro as you explore Amboseli National Park with its healthy populations of wild animals and prolific birdlife. A visit to Tsavo, the biggest national park in Africa at 12,000 acres, brings the opportunity to get up close to some of the most revered wildlife on the continent. It is particularly known for its large herds of majestic elephants.

Finally, wind down at a 67 km private beach at the old mouth of the Tana River, part of the Tana Delta Conservancy. Explore this phenomenon with incredible its birdlife, aquatic life and wildlife coupled with endless miles of vast uninhabited beach.

After your morning arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be transferred by road to Amboseli and Elephant Gorge Camp to start this Kenya trip. Amboseli is best known for its iconic imagery of a massive African elephant with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Finish your first day in Kenya with a sundowner.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to H12 Kipalo Hills in Tsavo West's Mbulia Conservancy. After lunch, take the rest of the day to enjoy all that H12 Kipalo Hills and Mbulia Conservancy has to offer. A bushwalk followed by a game drive with the opportunity to spot some of Africa's wild animals will introduce you to the diverse terrain of this national park which is particularly mountainous compare to its eastern neighbour.

Whether you prefer to stay within the conservancy or drive through Tsavo National Park, there is no shortage of activities during your final day in Tsavo. Opt for an exciting early morning game drive, a bushwalk through the conservancy or just choose to relax at the camp and soak up the views. Depending on the sightings from the rangers that morning, your day's activities may take you to both the eastern and western sides of the national park.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred by road to H12 Delta Dunes. The journey takes you on a scenic safari through Tsavo East before stopping for lunch in Malindi, the little Italy of Kenya. Continue on the road after lunch and arrive at H12 Delta Dunes at dusk, just in time to enjoy a sundowner and the rare opportunity of seeing the sunset over the sea and the river at the same time.

Take advantage of the only lodge in East Africa offering you 67 km of private beach while simultaneously offer a bush experience on the waterways of Tana Delta. River fishing with locally made rods is an optional activity with a good chance of catching a variety of fish such as snapper, barracuda, koli koli and rock cod. You'll spend the afternoon on a boat safari take you past hippos, thousands of birds and maybe a crocodile or two. For today's sundowners, take a walk along the dunes.
