Explore Rumsiskes & Kaunas

Today, you'll check out of your hotel and begin the trip to Kaunas. En-route you will stop at the Rumšiškės Open Air Museum. Upon your arrival in Kaunas, you will check into your new hotel before venturing on a guided walking tour of the town. You will start with the castle and the Old Town that are reminiscent of medieval days and then, walk to the centre, where the modern history of Kaunas starts.

Rusne via the Panemune Castle Route

Today, you will travel to the town of Rusne via the scenic Panemune Castle route. Along the way, you will pass by the remote villages, towns and castles which lay between the many rivers and channels. Upon your arrival, you will check into the hotel. Bird Watching & Neringa Curonian Spit Tour

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and travel to Vente Horn Ornithology Station where thousands of birds pass each day. You will then hop on a ferry over to Neringa and spend the day exploring before returning by ferry and checking into your new hotel in Klaipeda. The Curonian Spit Peninsula has suffered over the years due to harsh winds and the battering of waves, however, due to great human efforts complete erosion of the peninsula has been combatted.

The largest seaside resort in Lithuania, Palanga is famous for its white-sand beaches and nightlife. Originally a fishing village, Palanga was first mentioned in the 12th century. Upon your arrival in Vilnius, you will be free to explore at your leisure.
