You will be collected from your hotel first thing in the morning, and the journey to Mikumi Wildlife Camp will begin. You can expect to arrive at the camp around midday. You will then have a short break before your afternoon game drive begins in the Mikumi National Park. In the evening, you'll return to camp where dinner will be served by one of the best chefs in the park.

After breakfast, you will travel to Ruaha National Park, where you will check into Ruaha River Lodge. After a short break, depart for your afternoon game drive. The remoteness of Ruaha gives you the perfect impression of a real safari in wild Africa. The park is officially the largest in Tanzania and animals commonly seen include the East African cheetah, lions, the African leopard, wild dogs and more. A picnic lunch will be served in the park and dinner will be served at the lodge.

This morning, breakfast will be served at the lodge, and then you will depart for a full day game drive in the National Park - keep your binoculars close! In Ruaha National Park, animals commonly seen include the East African cheetah, lions, the African leopard, wild dogs, spotted hyenas, giraffes, hippos, African buffalo and sable antelope. A picnic lunch will be served en-route and you will return to the lodge in good time for dinner.

After breakfast, you will depart for Selous Game Reserve. You should arrive in the early afternoon. You will have some time to freshen up before your late afternoon game drive. The Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage Site and a pristine uninhabited area twice the size of Switzerland. It has the world’s largest number of big game and over 400 species of birds, some extremely endangered.

Today, you'll spend the whole day exploring Selous Game Reserve, the 'hidden treasure of the Southern Circuit'. If you like, you'll have the option to go on a boat safari where you can get up close to the animals. Cruising down the river at a leisurely pace you'll find yourself struggling to look in all directions, as animals hide everywhere, from treetops to waterbed. Lunch will be served picnic-style in the park and dinner will be at camp.
