This morning, you'll drive the coast road to Cape Palliser, where you can climb a lighthouse, watch a seal colony and enjoy the non-stop views. The road to Cape Palliser is dramatically scenic and this region has a rich history of early Maori occupation; heritage sites are part of the fascinating landscape. After climbing up to the lighthouse, you'll continue to Martinborough where you'll stay for the next two nights. Packed with colonial charm, Martinborough features over 20 wineries!

You'll head to the winery and home of Juliet Harbutt, a world expert and international cheese judge, for an unmissable, unique gastronomic experience. You'll then continue to Napier.
