Trip Overview

This “Romantic German Winter” trip will take you from the Rhine River in Cologne to the Isar River in Munich, from North Rhine Westfalia to Bavaria, visiting interesting cities en route including Frankfurt, the financial center of Germany, the old university city of Heidelberg, the charming area of Lake Constance that is bordered by three countries.

Between culture and nature, high peaks and low valleys, traditions and trends – no other region combines extreme contrasts with as much charm as Innsbruck. Here you can travel from the heart of the Tyrolean capital up to the high peaks of the Nordkette mountain range in just 20 minutes, where you can experience this alpine jewel up close and marvel at the vibrant hustle and bustle of the city from above.

Or discover the alpine-urban style with little jumps through time from modern architecture to historical buildings. The city's special old town flair and famous sights are only a breath away from your next hike or bike tour, ski area or winter hiking experience.

Finally, you will visit the Fairy Tale Castle of Neuschwanstein and enjoy the highlights of Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
