Embrace the Freedom of the Open Road the bountiful beauty of surrounding landscapes on this seven-day Tasmania Road trip.

Beginning in the vibrant, capital city of Hobart, you'll be in awe of its beautiful blend of culture, stunning scenery and heritage, sprinkled with a number of unmissable, world-class attractions. After a walking tour with a local guide to admire the beautiful, well-preserved Georgian and Victorian architecture, you'll head to Triabunna.

On the way to Triabunna, you'll stop to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site and the Tasman Peninsula, enjoying some tastings of local chocolate and fresh seafood on the way. The next two days will see you driving inland to Launceston, a hub for food, wine, nature and culture.

Here, you'll find incredible food, wineries, beautiful old towns on the outskirts of the city and plentiful scenic highlights such as the Cataract Gorge. Finally, you'll make your way to Stanley, enjoying stops in the northwest coastal cities of Devonport and Burnie on the way.

Today, you'll travel to Port Arthur for your sightseeing tour. You'll begin the tour at Federation Artisan Chocolate where you'll sample some handmade chocolate. Next, at Doo-lishus, a famous fish and chip van, you can sample some fresh seafood. Afterwards, you'll explore the picturesque Tasman Peninsula's soaring sea cliffs and amazing rock formations. Finally, you'll arrive at Port Arthur Historic Site to explore this site and later, you'll continue your Tasmania Roadtrip to Triabunna.

Here, you'll find incredible food, wineries, beautiful old towns on the outskirts of the city and plentiful scenic highlights.

You'll begin the tour at the Cataract Gorge Scenic Chairlift and from here, you'll explore the fascinating Cataract Gorge. Launceston's little slice of wilderness, at Cataract Gorge, you'll find walking trails, hiking routes, the world's longest single-span chairlift, a swimming pool, restaurant, cafe, wildlife, landscaped gardens, panoramic lookouts, suspension bridges and more!

Today, as you make your way to your final destination of the Tasmania road trip, Stanley, you'll tour the northwest coast. You'll first stop in the city of Devonport, situated at the mouth of the Mersey River known for its maritime history and aboriginal rock carvings. You'll then continue on to Burnie, a vibrant history that reinvested itself from its industrial past. Finally, you'll arrive in Stanley and enjoy the view of the city and surrounding beaches from your hotel balcony.
