This morning, your guide will pick you up for your transfer to Mai Chau Village. Mai Châu is a rural district of Hòa Bình Province in the Northwest region of Vietnam. In the afternoon, you'll spend two-three hours cycling around to explore Mai Chau's beautiful ethnic villages including Na Thia, Nhot, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng Chau. You'll be welcomed by the friendly local people to discover their traditional culture and take in the spectacular scenery of Mai Chau and the rhythm of local life.

After breakfast at Mai Chau Ecolodge, you'll be free to relax at the lodge or visit the local market or do a trek to H’smong Village. At Pa Co Market, you can see the different characteristics, customs and habits of Hmong ethnic people. It is considered a "living museum" of the community and its ethnic minorities. The items for sale are fairly diverse, though most stalls selling colourful brocade products. In the afternoon, you'll return to Hanoi for the night.

This morning, you'll be collected for your drive to Ninh Binh. Tam Coc which is considered as the "Halong Bay on land" is stunning. When you first arrive, you'll hike to the peak of Hang Mua Cave, to see the whole Tam Coc landscape and Ninh Binh city. After a delicious lunch of specialities at a local restaurant, you'll head out on your Tam Coc boat ride to see the natural and amazing scenery of this landscape with three magical grottos - Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba.

This morning, you'll check out of your hotel in Ninh Binh and then travel to Halong Bay for your overnight cruise. Upon arrival, you'll board your premier cruise which will be your home for the night. In the afternoon, you'll board sampan boats and head off to explore the Bright and Dark Caves guided by local people. in the evening, along with a fantastic dinner, you'll have a special performance of traditional Vietnamese music in the dining room or on the top deck.

Begin your day with a Tai Chi session on the top deck as the sun rises from behind the mountains. After breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the bay, you'll experience some fantastic kayaking to discover the lovely Tra Bau area. You'll visit a fishing farm and socialise with the resident fishermen in order to know more about their life and how they work every day. You'll be treated to a cooking demonstration as you cruise back to the mainland to hop in your car back to Hanoi.
