Challenge yourself and feel amazing with this yoga retreat in India! Starting in Delhi, you'll strike a balance of seeing the most iconic structures of India as you tour Old and New Delhi.

Then, you'll travel to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. Over three intensive but rewarding days of yoga, meditation and Ayurveda, you'll lay foundations for an active, healthy and balanced lifestyle. You'll finish the trip in the most spectacular fashion, as you head back to Delhi and make your way out to Agra to see the fort at sunset. You'll then wake up early to be at the Taj Mahal for sunrise to watch the glistening marble change colour.

Day 2

Old and New Delhi

Today we drive to Old Delhi. Drive along the river Yamuna, past the magnificent Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. Enjoy a cycle through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, the spine of Old Delhi. Later continue to New Delhi to visit the Qutab Minar; visit a myriad of monuments that combine both Islamic calligraphy and Hindu motifs. Then proceed to “Lutyen’s” New Delhi, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and the India Gate, a war memorial arch built in honour of soldiers.

Day 3

Train to Rishikesh

In the morning, take the train to Hardiwar and be transferred to Rishikesh, where your yoga retreat will begin. You'll start with lunch, then you will have your first therapy session. Then, you'll warm up with a little cycling before your first yoga session. You'll then have a walk during sunset before dinner. Take another walk to wind down before bedtime. You'll be given a health drink before you sleep.

Drive to Agra

In the morning, you'll take the train back to Delhi, when you arrive, you'll hop straight in the car for the drive to Agra. Later visit Agra Fort. Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jahangir, Agra Fort today dominates the centre of the city. Diwan-i-Aam (hall of public audience) and Diwan-i-Khas (hall of private audience) were built by Shahjehan.

Taj Mahal Sunrise

Perhaps no other symbol epitomizes India like the Taj Mahal. Situated on the banks of the river Yamuna, the Taj Mahal is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. This magnificent monument is set around a Charbagh or 'four-garden' plan, which is split by watercourses - a reflection of the Persian style. The rise of the sun will give you a glimpse of a lifetime with the change of colour in the marble as time pass by.
