You will be welcomed by your professional naturalist guide when you arrive today for your Cancun Tour. By ground transportation, you will go to Chichén Itzá where upon arrival you will get a briefing about the trip activities and other important information. Afterwards, you will check in at Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows and then have the rest of the day free to relax. In the evening, you'll enjoy a light and sound show at Chichen Itza.

Chichen Itza & Valladolid

In the early morning, you will walk from the hotel to the Chichén Itzá Ruins, one of the greatest Mayan centres of the Yucatán. With a history dating back 1,000 years, Chichen Itza was built by the Maya people and was a large pre-Columbian city. After a couple of hours exploring Chichen Itza, you'll enjoy the scenic bike ride to Valladolid as you ride through local Mexican villages. The 59-kilometre journey will take around 3 hours. Upon arrival in Valladolid, you'll explore the main sights.

In the morning, you will cycle to the Ek Balam archaeological site, the journey covers a distance of 27 kilometres and will take around 1.5 hours. After enjoying this beautiful site and gaining a unique insight into the ancient Mayan civilisation, you will cycle back to Valladolid for a city tour and a visit to the museum. For dinner, you will find a variety of dining options you can choose from in Valladolid and your guide will be more than happy to provide you with recommendations.

After breakfast, you will cycle to Coba. The journey covers a distance of 70 kilometres and will take around 4 hours including a stop along the way at the impressive Tamcach Ha cenote where you can refresh and have a snack. After visiting the incredible and off-the-beaten-track Coba archaeological site, there is an optional zipline tour where over the course of ziplines, you can gain a unique insight into Coba and the mass jungle it sits in from above the canopy.

Today, you'll have the option to rise early and start the day with a bird watching tour. Following the tour, you'll jump on your bike and ride to the Tulum Archaeological Site, one of the most beautiful places of the Riviera Maya. Here, you can learn more about the rich Mexican culture and take spectacular photos. Afterwards, you'll take the opportunity to refresh in the crystal clear waters of one of Tulum's many cenotes before cycling back to your hotel.

This morning, you'll take a leisurely bike ride to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve to kayak in wetlands and learn more about the area which is home to a huge and diverse range of flora and fauna as well as a barrier reef home to an abundance of marine life. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy Tulum Beach spending your time swimming in the sea, relaxing on the beach or enjoying one of its many beachfront restaurants or bars. In the afternoon, you'll transfer in an air-conditioned van to your hotel.
