Beginning with an intimate walking tour that takes in many of the historical and picturesque sites of Dublin, the first day of this trip will set the precedent for how the rest will proceed. As you continue on your Ireland vacation south to Tipperary after exploring the extremely cultured city of Dublin, you'll visit stunning scenic towns known for their rustic castles, ancient abbeys and lush farming landscapes.

Moving onto Killarney and the Killarney National Park, one of Ireland's most beautiful areas where you'll be surrounded by stunning lakes, high mountains and forests clinging to the rock faces. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be collected by your local guide and taken on a brief tour of the city. He will point out the major attractions and help you to get your bearings. You will then be dropped off at the hotel so that you can check in. The rest of the day is yours to either relax or explore at your leisure. In the evening, your guide will provide you with recommendations for places to eat, things to do and bars to frequent.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and travel to South Tipperary. It is renowned for its rustic castles, ancient abbeys and lush farming landscapes. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage town of Cashel, which lies at the foot of the world-famous Rock of Cashel. You'll also visit the town of Cahir which is famous for its Norman fortification, Cahir Castle, as well as the associated Hunting Lodge, known simply as the Swiss Cottage. In the evening, you'll arrive in Killarney.

Today, you will visit the Killarney National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of southern Ireland. How you choose to experience the park, is entirely up to you. You have the choice of hiking, biking, horse riding or travelling by car through the magical scenery. This is a beautiful spot full scenic views and dramatic lakes so make sure to have your camera at the ready!

Today, you'll head out of Killarney to enjoy a spectacular drive around the Dingle Peninsula. This scenic coastal drive is renowned as one of the world’s finest and has been immortalised on film and in song. Offering some of the best rustic scenery in Ireland, there are endless opportunities for beach walks, cliffs hikes and photography. You'll have lunch in Dingle in one of the pubs dotted along the harbour. In the afternoon, you'll watch a hypnotic crystal cutting display at Dingle Crystal.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and begin a journey along West Clare, one of the most scenic and dramatic landscapes in Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher is the highlight of the region and can be experienced from the lofty heights looking down into the abyss of Atlantic rollers below. You will then continue on to the Burren National Park, where you will have the opportunity to walk on the lunar-like landscape. In the evening, you will check into the stunning Ashford Castle Hotel.

There are numerous activities that can be arranged on the grounds of Ashford Castle. Archery, falconry, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and walks through their excellent landscaped grounds can be arranged at your request. It is recommended to take a boat ride on Lough Corrib and perhaps stop on the Island of St. Patrick to view the ruins of an ancient monastery. Come the evening you can enjoy the entertainment available in the Dungeon Bar.
