Arrive today at Chania International Airport and take a bus transfer to your hotel in Kissamos, which is an hour-long journey. After you have checked into your accommodation, your Crete food tour will begin with a welcome dinner at the Cellar Taverna in the evening, which is situated right on the seafront. This family-run taverna of over 20 years has an excellent reputation for its fresh fish and seafood speciality dishes.

This morning you will travel to a small village to visit a local farmhouse. The owners will welcome you and offer you an insight into Cretan life. The family here is self-sufficient with their own produce and livestock. You will enjoy a wine and cheese tasting and you will get to try some of the homemade products here like walnuts, olive oil and lemonade. Lunch will be in a local taverna in the hills. The afternoon is free for you to relax in Kissamos, at the beach or at your hotel.

Today you have a full day at your leisure to enjoy Crete as you please, giving you time to explore some other parts of the island if you wish. Enjoy a relaxed beach day at Seitan Limania, a great spot to chill out and enjoy the sparkling Aegean Sea. If you're looking for a more adventurous activity, the hike around Balos Lagoon provides some spectacular views.
