You will then have the rest of the day at leisure to discover Bordeaux on your own. The world-famous city of Bordeaux lies in southwestern France and is renowned for being the nation's wine capital. Aside from its fabulous wines, Bordeaux's cityscape is one of the region's most breathtaking.

In the morning, you will discover the amazing Bay of Arcachon with your family! Your kids will love it!
Arcachon is a bay of 1500 hectares fed by the Atlantic Ocean forming an inland sea with the colours of a lagoon, bordered on one side by a blond fine sand dune culminating at 110 meters: The Dune du Pyla. This dune is the biggest and highest sand dune in Europe! From its summit, you can also admire the beautiful Landes forest. In the afternoon, discover the prestigious wines of the right bank of the Gironde in Saint-Emilion. Finally, enjoy a guided tour of the village of Saint Emilion, listed as another UNESCO site.

Boasting some of the region's best-preserved medieval architecture, it's a popular base for exploring the Vézère Valley, and a favourite spot for film directors. Start the day by visiting two of Dordogne's major castles: Beynac and Castelnaud la Chapelle. You can choose to explore them on your own, with a guide, or with the help of a VR tablet. From here, you will continue to the 12th-century Château de Beynac, Perigord's best-preserved fortress. It perches high on a cliff, where it's watched over the Dordogne for the last nine centuries. You will finally spend the afternoon on the water with a self-guided canoe trip. Choose from a variety of route options, from 3 miles to 16 miles on either the Vézère, the Dordogne, or both rivers.
