Upon arrival in Munich, you will pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to your centrally located hotel. In the afternoon, you can visit the city at your leisure. Munich is one of the top European travel and business destinations. You can go on a hop on-hop off city tour of Munich. Major sights include the theKönigsplatzwith its Greek and Roman-inspired architectural setting, Ludwigstrasseand the university quarter of Schwabing.

Visit Neuschwanstein Castle

You will drive through the beautiful Upper Bavarian landscapes offering you great impressions of the marvellous Alpine scenery on your way to the "Royal countryside". You will visit Linderhof Castle, the most intimate of Ludwig's castles. Next, you will drive to Neuschwanstein with a short stop at Oberammergau, the village famous for its Passion Play. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Munich.

This morning you will leave Munich by train (1st day of using the German Rail pass!) and travel to Baden-Baden, along with Wiesbaden the most famous and oldest spa in Germany, originating from the time of the Roman Emperor Caracalla. In the afternoon, you will have a guided walking tour.

In the morning, you will explore the beauty of the Black Forest landscapes by venturing out on a private tour of the scenic Black Forest Highway to Mummelsee (Lake Mummel) and Sasbachwalden, a picturesque village located in a beautiful valley. In case of interest, we can arrange for a wine sampling experience in the wine-growing town Kappelrodeck. Optionally you can make a half-day trip to Strasbourg on the French side across the River Rhine to taste the cuisine in Alsace that is famous all over France?
