A private driver will collect you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and quick tour briefing. In the afternoon we embark on an excursion of Kathmandu sightseeing to some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan City, and a Kumari Temple. In the evening, we meet for a welcome dinner.

Swayambhu is an ancient religious stupa on top of a hill west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees', for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. Patan City and Patan Durbar Square are the oldest of the three cities of Kathmandu valley and best known for their artistic heritage.

Today is a very scenic 6 hours drive past beautiful riverbanks and gorges. In Pokhara visit Seti George, Davis fall and Bindubasini temple. Barahi temple in the middle of Lake Phewa and is a fascinating landmark in Pokhara. Late afternoon, see the reflection of snow-capped mountains in the lake and close up views of Annapurna range and Fish Tail Peak while out on a walk.

Wake up early for a morning drive to Sarangkot for a magnificent sunrise view of the Annapurna range. After breakfast, there is a 5-hour drive to Chitwan. The Tharu community resides along the entire length of the Terai plains of Nepal and preserve their culture with pride. Go on a village tour that explains about Tharu culture, daily lifestyle and activities of the Tharu community in Chitwan.

Today we rise early to head out for a morning of bird-watching. Chitwan National Park has over 500 species of birds to observe and their prime time is early in the morning! After a hearty breakfast, we begin the long drive back to Kathmandu. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your leisure.
