The day will start with a plentiful breakfast, then take a tour of one of Africa's most famous attractions, the Victoria Falls. Introduced to the west by Scottish adventurer, David Livingstone in 1855. After lunch, visit a Royal village, Mukuni founded around the 13th century. It is home to about 7,000 Leya people. The chief has invited visitors into his village to get a glimpse into how his people have lived for generations and to learn a little about their traditions, customs and beliefs.

Livingstone, a historic British colonial city with modern additions like shopping malls and restaurants is filled with exciting activities to fill the day. Head out whitewater rafting in Batoka Gorge for an intense sensory thrill with 25 white-water rapids. Take a helicopter flight for an aerial view of the falls and wildlife - you may feel like you have been kissed by an angel as you fly through the “smoke” of the Falls.

Today you'll make the 7-hour drive to Siavonga and stay at Fresh View Hotel, located on the banks of Lake Kariba, 10 minutes drive from Siavonga main town. The hotel has many on-site facilities that you can choose to enjoy as and when you please. Late afternoon, take a cruise on Lake Kariba, one of the biggest man-made lakes in the world and the largest man-made lake in Africa.

A visit to Siavonga is not complete without a visit to the Kariba Gorge. Kariba Gorge is a large, natural gorge through which flows into the Zambezi River on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. In 1959, the dam was completed, filling the gorge and creating the largest man-made lake in the world. The Zambezi is not only a major tourist attraction, but a lifeline and constant source of income for millions and is truly a gem of the African continent.

This morning the driver will transfer you to airport in Lusaka for your 1-hour flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival at Mfuwe airport, you will be greeted by the guide and transferred through the settlements of Mfuwe to the lodge. You'll be welcomed with afternoon tea before the late afternoon safari drive, the best time to spot nocturnal animals such as lion, leopard, spotted hyena and wild dog.

After breakfast go on a morning game drive or do a walking Zambia safari instead. You'll return to the lodge and have the afternoon free to enjoy. You might want to visit the bush spa for a massage or kick back by the pool that overlooks the watering hole. Once again, afternoon tea will be served before you head out for your afternoon and evening game drive.
