We will come to the airport to welcome you and transfer you to the booked hotel. We will help you with the hotel check-in process to make you feel easy and comfortable. The first day is open time but it is strongly recommended to take plenty of water and a good rest once arrived in Lhasa, Tibet to counteract altitude sickness. We will accompany you if you are excited to go around.

Day 2

Lhasa: Drepung and Sera Monastery

Your trip starts with Drepung monastery in the morning. You will walk on the stone slab to grab the opportunity to see different Buddhist practices, the monk's room, and the monastery kitchen. Norbulingka is the next destination where you will enjoy the moment at the palaces built by The Dalai Lama at the different lineage. In the afternoon, you will visit Sera monastery to enjoy the popular Buddhist monk debate in the beautiful garden.

Day 3

You will visit the Great Potala Palace. The long stair guides you to The Dalai Lama prayer room, living room, meeting room, most sacred chapels and the tombs built for Dalai Lama lineages. The red-white palace reveals you more interesting Tibetan stories. In the afternoon, you will visit the most revered temple - Jokhang temple, where you will have the opportunity to glimpse at the image of Sakyamuni. Once you finish Jokhang temple tour, you will take a Kora of Jokhang temple via Barkhor Street.

Day 4

Lhasa to Shigatse (3,836 Meters)

You will leave for Gyantse and drive over the Gampala pass (4790 m). You will have a glimpse of Yamdrok Lake (4500m) surrounded by many snow-capped mountains as well as Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, in distance. Then, you enjoy the Korola Glacier on the roadside and Simila Mountain Pass to reach Gyantse. There, you will visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum and enjoy the far view of Gyangtse Fortress. Once you finish Gyantse tour, you will head toward Shigatse.

In the morning, you will visit Tashilunpo Monastery and explore the important chapels of the monastery. Once you finish Tashilhunpo monastery tour, you will head toward Everest, crossing Himalayans at Gyatso La Pass. You can actually see Mt. Everest in the distance. Winding up to Gawu La Pass, you will see will see Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyu and Mt. Shishapama from left to right. Now, you are about to enter Everest Base Camp.

Day 6

EBC – Shigatse

You will enjoy the sunrise from the highest peak point of the world in the morning. You should take some photos EBC, and post service can deliver them to your dear and near ones. A short distance trekking is important and you will trek from tent guesthouse to the Dza Rongbuk caves, then you will visit the highest monastery in the world - Rongbu monastery. Once you are familiar with the destination, you will head toward Shigatse. There is marvelous scenery on the way to enjoy.
