Spend eight days exploring incredible beauty in this Northern Italy trip which is bursting with historical cities waiting to be discovered by you.

Beginning in Turin, you'll travel to the stunning region of Lake Garda where you'll spend your days boating on the lake and taking leisurely bicycle rides to neighbouring towns on the lake's shores. Travelling by train, you'll make your way to Venice, stopping to visit Verona and one of the largest amphitheatres in Italy en route.

Your days in Venice will see you exploring the most important buildings and areas of the city, the Doge's Palace, the Jewish Ghetto and the remarkable St Mark's Basilica. You'll also take a Gondola ride on the Canal Grande, the beating heart of Venice.

This wonderful trip will come to an end in the city that holds so many treasured monuments from its long history, Rome. Take in the main sights and absorb the historic atmosphere of this beautiful city before heading home.

From Torino Caselle Airport a driver will take you to the centre of the city that was once the capital of Italy. After checking into your hotel and getting settled, you'll visit the Royal Palace with a private guide. The Royal Palace is a historic palace of the House of Savoy and has been for three centuries. You'll then visit the Medieval Castle at the Valentino that was built to host a section of the 1884 Turin Expo. Finally, you'll enjoy a tasting of the local chocolate, Gianduja.

This morning you'll say goodbye to Turin and catch a first-class train to Brescia. Upon arrival, your private driver will take you to Riva del Garda. From this lovely town, soak in the atmosphere of Lake Garda. You'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to spend as you wish. There are a host of Lake Garda excursions to choose from; you can go on a boat tour or rent a bike and ride to the impressive Ciclopista del Garda, a bike path that follows the shoreline between Riva and Limone Sul Garda. If you stay in the town, you can absorb its historic charm as you walk through the heart of Riva and find a spot at an outside cafe to take in the beautiful architecture. Alternatively, Limone Sul Garda is framed by mountainous cliffs which rise up behind its waterfront.

With a private driver, you'll leave the Lake Garda behind and en route to the train station, you'll take a tour of Verona. You'll visit Juliet House, the house where supposedly lived the family of Capulet and Arena di Verona, one of the largest amphitheatres in Italy. You'll then catch a train to Venice and upon arrival, you'll be taken to your hotel by boat. In the afternoon, you'll head out on a unique walking tour of Venice's secret local food and wine spots.

Today after breakfast, you'll head out with a guide to visit one of the most important buildings of the city, the Doge's Palace, on a shared tour. You'll also visit the Jewish Ghetto where Jewish merchants who fled from the Spanish Inquisition in 1541 were forced to live. This morning, you'll leave Venice behind and catch a water taxi to the train station where you'll catch your first-class train to Rome to visit the city that holds so many monuments from its long history. Upon arrival in Rome, you'll be transferred to your hotel and then have the rest of the day free to relax or explore the city. You can explore the architectural wonders of Ancient Rome and the Baroque era or spend a leisurely afternoon in the cafes of the city listening to music.
