Day 1
Arrival in Lusaka and Fly to South Luangwa National Park

It’s an hour’s local flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa. On arrival at the airport, you will be met by the guide from Chikunto Safari Lodge who will take you there. The journey takes around an hour. Enjoy the riverview and some drinks at the bar, later dinner will be served. Please note that this is a game drive transfer; you will see wild animals on the way to the lodge inside the national park.

Day 2
Game Viewing in South Luangwa National Park
Close
Start your day with breakfast followed by either a walking safari or a game drive safari for about 4 hours. After some free time to enjoy the sounds of nature, you will be served with afternoon tea, coffee with snacks. Depart for an afternoon game drive with sundowner drinks. When it's dark, you will search for nocturnal animals such as leopards with the help of the spotter with a flashlight and return to the lodge almost in time for dinner.

After breakfast, choose a morning activity: walking safari or game drive safari for about 4 hours before returning for lunch and free time to relax. Have afternoon tea, coffee with snacks and then depart for a late-afternoon game drive with sundowner drinks. When it's dark, you will be searching for nocturnal animals such as leopards with the help of the spotter with a flashlight. Return to the lodge for dinner. You can enjoy some drinks at the bar or the fire pit.

Travel to Lower Zambezi via Lusaka

Depending on your flight time, you will either depart after breakfast or after morning game drive. Transfer to Mfuwe Airport to fly to Lower Zambezi National Park via Lusaka. In Lusaka, you will be assisted to check into the charter flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. When you arrive at Royal Airstrip you will be transferred to the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will go on either a game drive or a boat cruise. Return to the lodge in time for dinner.

Later in the afternoon, you will be served with an afternoon tea, coffee with snacks, followed by an afternoon game drive or sunset boat cruise that goes into the evening. Return to the lodge to relax and have dinner as the sky lights up with stars.
