Embark on this Rome, Florence and Venice itinerary for the best of the three cities over nine days!

Beginning in Rome, you'll spend a few days exploring the Eternal City including a special guided tour of the sacred Vatican City as well as other major landmarks including the Colosseum. Moving on by train, you'll arrive in Florence to explore the 'Cradle of Renaissance' through its wonderful culture and art.

You'll take a day trip from Florence to Pisa to lay eyes on the famous Leaning Tower and explore this unique, historic city. Finally, you'll bring your wonderful trip to an end in Venice, the city built on water!

Upon arrival, a private transfer will be waiting for you to take you from the airport to your accommodation in the centre of Rome. The rest of the day will then be free for you to spend as you wish. You may want to set out on foot and explore the city on your own or just relax at your hotel. Today, you'll embark on a private tour of Rome including tickets to the Colosseum, Foro and the Colle Palatino - the most iconic landmarks of Rome. The tour starts at the Colosseum, where you will take a journey back through Roman history. After exploring the Colosseum, you'll visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. In the afternoon, you can take a stroll around the city centre to admire the beautiful Trevi Fountain, the squares Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona and more.

Today, you'll head out early on a shared guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the incredible Sistine Chapel, as well as the St Peter's Basilica. This guided tour of the Vatican Museums will allow you to avoid the long queues and have more time to explore one of the largest art collections in the world. After the visit, you'll take a walk along the Tiber River and admire Castel Sant'Angelo then go for a last exploration of Rome.

This morning, you'll say goodbye to Rome for the day if you wish and catch a fast train to Naples and enjoy a guided tour of the city centre as well as some free time to explore the city itself. Naples is famous for pizza, football, history and Spaccanapoli - the street that cuts the historical centre in two halves. Walking up and down the streets that cross the historical centre is like reading the history of the city and is the best way to explore Naples.

Today, you'll go on a join-in excursion to visit some of the main sights of Tuscany: Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano. You'll take an independent tour of Pisa during which you'll admire the leaning tower and baptistery. You'll go to a wine estate in the foothills of San Gimignano, where you will enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch enriched by precious wines. You will discover one of the most famous Medieval hilltop villages in Italy, San Gimignano, and embark on a guided tour of Siena.

This morning, you'll say goodbye to Florence and you embark on your final journey of this trip. You'll catch a fast train from Rome to Mestre, close to Venice. Then, you'll take a bus to go to Venice. After checking into your hotel in the city centre, you'll take the opportunity to visit the Opera La Fenice, one of the most famous theatres in the world.
