Today, you'll be introduced to Fijian culture and its history. You will hear about the history of the region, including its cannibal past! Children from the villages that line the river wave as we cruise past. When you reach your village destination, you are given a warm welcome by the villagers. You will then visit the village Chief’s bure or community hall and take part in a kava ceremony, before a tour of the village and a traditional Fijian lunch, including wonderful fresh tropical fruit.

As you hover over the sea, you'll have stunning views of the vista of islands that lay before you, as you make your way to the Yasawa Islands, a small archipelago that are known for their water sports opportunities.

Your day is free to relax and soak up the splendour of paradise that is Yasawa Island. Whether you are looking to spend your day at the resort or want to head out to explore more of what Fiji is about, it's really up to you. Your guide will be able to organise any tour that you wish to do, something that comes highly recommended is snorkelling around the beaches of the island.

If you are looking for a little more adventure and know how to scuba dive, heading out to Naviti Island may be for you as you can explore an underwater network of caves and enter another world! For those who have not dived before, there are tours available to learn the basics.

With not long left, you may want to make the most of the resort today, you can take this opportunity to try your hand at Fijian cooking to really get to grips with the culture - as we all know, eating is always the best way to do this! Your chef and guide will show you the ways of a Fijian kitchen before you sit down to enjoy your meal for lunch or dinner, depending on when you wish to start!

When in paradise, do as paradise suggests - take it easy! It's too hot to do too much anyway! Grab a fresh coconut and make your way to the beach, lounge on the sand and maybe head out to try some more local cuisine before you go! For a little more adventure, you might want to try kayaking around the island to explore to coastline.
