This fantastic tour offers you magnificent views of Ipanema Beach and the Atlantic Ocean and Rocinha, the largest favela of Rio. You will begin with a 15-minute walk on the seaside to find the entrance of the Vidigal Favela, where you'll catch a VW van for a ride to the top of the favela. Then, embark on a 45-minute hike through woods to reach the summit of the Two Brothers Peak (660 metres high). On this day you will see a unique side to Rio!

Today, you will have a free morning in Rio. You can visit the colourful steps of Escadaria Selaron or stroll around the scenic botanical gardens in the centre. Then, at the scheduled time, you will have a private transfer to the airport to your flight to Iguaçu Falls, Foz Do Iguaçu. Arriving in Foz do Iguaçú, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Today, you will be transferred to explore the Argentinian side of the falls. Once in the Argentine National Park, board a train headed to the Devil’s Throat, the tallest waterfall in Iguaçu. After enjoying the scenery, board the train again until the first station to start a walk for about 3.2 km through the footpaths and walkways that provide a different and more complete view of the falls. After leaving the park, you will visit a nearby bird park with over 180 different species of birds.

On this day you will visit the Brazilian side of Iguaçu Falls, one of the most beautiful natural parks in the world. On this side, the ride lasts 2 to 4 hours. This side will give you the best panoramic view of the falls, replete with waterfalls that reach approximately 80 metres high. After exploring the park, you will be transferred to Iguaçú airport in Foz Do Iguaçu for your flight to Salvador. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit the upper town, where you will walk through the streets and alleys downtown of the famous Pelourinho historic district. That’s where you will find the Church of São Francisco, considered the country’s richest Baroque work. Later this day, visit the lower town, the coastal area of the city of Salvador, linked to the upper town by the Lacerda Elevator. Here you can visit the Church of Senhor do Bonfim and the Mercado Modelo, a traditional craft center.

Use this free day in Salvador to find out the amazing things in this city! You can visit Praia do Forte, which hosts the Tamar Project, a nonprofit organization that protects sea turtles. In an area of 10,000 square metres, you can see 4 or 5 species of sea turtles in different stages of the life cycle.
