Depart from the city of Windhoek in the morning in a 4x4 vehicle down to Sesriem where you will check into the Elegant Desert Lodge, situated on beautiful farmland. The afternoon is free so you can relax at the lodge, enjoy the swimming pool or explore the reserve on foot.

Day 2

Sossusvlei Sunrise and Sand Dunes

Wake up before sunrise for an unforgettable experience on the dunes. You will then travel out to the Sesriem at the entrance to the dunes where you'll see some of the highest in the world. Reach a spectacular viewpoint where you can watch the sunrise hit the orange of the sand as the day breaks. With a stop for lunch, you'll continue on your day of incredible photo opportunities. After a long day of heat and adventure, dinner will be served in the evening at the lodge.

Day 3

Travel to Swakopmund

You will drive to Swakopmund via the Guab and Kuiseb passes. This drive takes you through ever-changing desert landscapes before arriving in Walvis Bay, the main harbour in Namibia. From Walvis Bay, you will continue on a short drive towards Swakopmund where you will stay in your hotel close to the city centre. You can choose from a number of optional activities in the afternoon.

You have the whole day free to explore Swakopmund. It is regarded as the adventure capital of Namibia so there are many adrenaline-fueled activities to choose from. You can also take a boat cruise to Walvis Bay where you have a good chance of spotting seals and dolphins. Stroll and explore the history of this fascinating town.

Day 5

Travel to Damaraland

Start your day early and head northeast towards the diverse and scenic Damaraland. If time allows, in the afternoon you will visit Twyfelfontein which, when translated literally means ‘doubtful spring’. This site hosts numerous petroglyphs and was recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue onto Damaraland which sits on the edge of the Palmwag Concession, one of the most remote places in Namibia.

Day 6

Search for Desert-Adjusted Elephants

Breakfast will be served at the camp. You will then travel out along the ephemeral rivers in search of the illusive desert-adapted elephant among other animals that have learned to live here. Damaraland is a semi-arid long stretch of plains that straddles green mountains and desert coastline. This landscape and its inhabitants have evolved over millions of years. Today's tour will teach you all about this unique part of the world.

Day 7

Travel to Etosha

After enjoying breakfast at the camp, you will depart for Etosha. You will travel via the small town of Outjo before heading to the Andersson’s gate, on the southern boundary of Etosha. From there, you will enter the reserve before the gates close. This evening, relax at Okaukuejo Camp where you can gaze out to the watering hole and spot wildlife from your accommodation.

Etosha Game Drive

Today will be spent on an Etosha safari in the hopes of seeing some spectacular game. Etosha is the pride and joy of Namibia and packed to the brim with wildlife. The park is centred by a great salt pan that not only acts as a source of life for animals but offers a great platform for visitors to see them in their prime. You'll rest back at the camp in-between game drives - wildlife are at their most active in the morning and late in the afternoon.
