Starting in the most romantic city in the world, you'll begin your tour from Venice to Rome by train, the city which sits on centuries of history and once visited, it will remain in your heart forever.

Here, you'll explore the smallest country in the world on a tour of Vatican City and spend your time tasting delicious Italian food. You'll then move further down the country on a trip to the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO-protected region which is home to beautiful towns and beaches, such as Positano and Amalfi.

You'll spend a few days exploring the Amalfi Coast, taking a wine tasting tour in Sorrento and visiting the ruins of Pompeii from Naples before finishing your trip in the understated but wonderful city of Naples!

Your trip to Italy starts today with one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, Venice! Arrive at the airport and hop on a boat taxi to central Venice to reach your accommodation. After checking into your Venice hotel, you can begin to enjoy the grand atmosphere of the 'floating city'. There is so much to see and do in this city, you'll be spoilt for choice. However, one of the best things to do in Venice is to find a streetside cafe and watch the world go by.

Discover deep inside the secrets of Venice on this wonderful tour during which you'll discover the beautiful islands of the lagoon. Near Venice, there are small islands that are waiting for visitors to come and gasp at their beauty. Murano, the glassblower's island, Torcello, the oldest inhabited island of the area, and Murano, coloured and famous for the lace industry. Today, you'll begin your day by travelling by high-speed train from Venice to Bologna. Upon arrival, you'll hop on a bus to the Ferrari Museum of Maranello. Inside the museum, you'll take a tour through the history of the famous brand. After a couple of hours in the museum cooing over these supercars, you'll head back out and you'll travel by high-speed train to Rome. The rest of the evening will then be free to spend as you wish.

Today, after breakfast, you'll start the day with a group tour of the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. Found with the heart of the city, the Vatican Museums are widely known as "the Museum of Museums" - the ultimate collection of works. Once you've finished your Vatican City tour, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore Rome and enjoy the city on your own.

Today, you'll say goodbye to the Eternal City and catch a high-speed train to Naples, where your private driver will take you to Amalfi driving along the Amalfi Coast. En route, you'll stop to visit the Pompeii Archeology Park, which dates back over 2,000 years when it was buried by a Mount Vesuvius eruption. The city dominated the valley around the Sarno River and was home to a population of Etruscans, Greeks and other Italic people.

Today, you'll explore Amalfi and Positano, stunning cliffside villages well known for their pebble beachfront and narrow stone streets flanked by boutique shops and pavement cafes. Several villas built by the ancient Romans can be found in Positano close to the Church dell'Assunta. Amalfi dates back to the time of the struggle between the Romans and the barbarian population and is a wonderful town to explore.

Sorrento historic centre is a warren of narrow alleys that's home to the Chiesa di San Francesco, a 14th-century church with a tranquil sanctuary.
