You will be met at the airport and transferred to Biraj International Hotel in Kampala. If you arrive early enough in the day, you will go on a Kampala City Tour in the afternoon. Your evening is free, so you can either dine at the hotel, or travel into the city for dinner.

Day 2

After an early breakfast you will depart from Kampala at about 8:00am and head west via Fort Portal to Kibale National Park. You will stop en route for lunch. You should arrive at Kibale National Park in the late afternoon and you will check into Chimpanzee Forest Guest House. Enjoy dinner on site.

Today you will spend the day in Kibale Forest, which is known for having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy chimpanzee tracking in the rain forest in search of the chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and many others. Return for a hearty lunch before being transferred to Bigodi Swamp for another but slightly different nature walk.

Have a relaxed breakfast before going to Queen Elizabeth National Park with pre-packed lunches. En-route you will enjoy some scenic beauty of the crater lakes, see tea plantations and the lush green vegetation in the area. Some stops for photos will be allowed, you'll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park late afternoon where you can relax for the remainder of the day.

Early coffees then begin your game drive. In the mating grounds of the Ugandan kobs, we may be lucky to spot some lions and leopards hunting and keep an eye out for elephants and other wild animals in the area. You'll return for late breakfast and have time to relax and enjoy the lodge facilities. After lunch cruise along the Kazinga Channel where we find the highest concentration of hippos in East Africa as well as many crocs and elephants.

Day 6

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Breakfast early, then head for another chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge before we head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Kyambura Gorge is famous for its view - the beautiful gorge and wild chimpanzees in the tropical rain forest. Depart for Bwindi with a lunch stop en-route and arrive at the home of the endangered mountain gorillas early evening.

After breakfast you will depart for your gorilla tracking experience with packed lunch. You will spend the full day in the park trekking through the forest along what is some times rough terrain to reach the home of the gorillas. You'll have a once in a life time experience to see this endanger species relaxing and playing with their troop. You will only return in the late afternoon for dinner and time to relax.

Today on your Uganda trip, you'll enjoy an early breakfast then set off back for Kampala. This drive is long (over 8 hours) but there are stunning views along the way. You will stop for lunch as well as at scenic view points for photo opportunities and time to stretch your legs. Upon your arrival in Kampala, you will check into the Biraj International Hotel where you will have the evening free to relax in the hotel or explore the city.
