Today, you'll fly from Lima to Iquitos to visit the Amazon. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed at the airport and taken to your cruise. In the morning, you'll get up early to appreciate one of the most important zones of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Later, you can jump on the skiffs and head to an area with large trees and old palm trees as well, this habitat favours the presence of several parrot species. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to head out on a nature walk to learn about medicinal plants. At night, you'll visit the Amazon village of Yachay to seek out the Shaman, Carola.

Today, you'll start cruising through the creeks of Yanayaquillo, peeking into different creeks and lagoons. This is one of the best-preserved and protected zones of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. In the afternoon, you'll head down into the Marañon River to a location known as Piraña Caño. There’s the option to explore the creek either by kayak or by skiff. Later, onboard the skiffs, you'll visit a community to meet local villagers who have called Amazonia their home for generations.

After breakfast, the ground crew will be waiting to take you by private vehicle back to the city of Iquitos, about 95 kilometres journey by paved road. On the way from Nauta back to Iquitos airport, you'll visit the Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre of River Mammals (ACOBIA). The land personnel will be waiting at the airport and give your boarding passes and help you check-in for the onward flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you'll be taken to your hotel in Cusco.

Today, you'll visit the local community of Huchuy Qosqo in the Sacred Valley to learn about the local products of the Andes and help in the preparation of a delicious pachamanca. Products such as potatoes, quinoa, corn, grains and organic vegetables are the main ingredients of this culinary exhibition. Afterwards, you'll head to Ollantaytambo and take the train to Machu Picchu.

Today, you'll explore one of the new Seven Wonders of the World on a half-day tour. You will be astonished at your first view of Machu Picchu, a stunning display of ancient architecture with incredible surroundings. You'll then enjoy a guided tour of the ruins and monuments such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries. In the afternoon, you'll take the train and car back to Cusco.
