Welcome to your 3 day Sapa hiking tour! This evening, you'll be collected from your chosen hotel and transferred to Hanoi train station, where you'll check-in and board your overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai, near Sapa.

Day 2

This morning, you'll arrive at Lao Cai Station in the early hours. You'll be picked up and transferred to Sapa by car which is around 40 kilometres by mountain road. When you arrive, you'll take a short two-kilometre trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of Hmong ethnic people. Then, you'll go on to Lao Chai and walk three kilometres to Ta Van with stops at the villages of the tribal people - Hmong, Tay and Dzay - en route.

If today is Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday nothing will be better than driving overland to the market of the hill tribal people, mainly from the H'mong ethnic group. Depending on the day, you can choose either Can Cau, Bac Ha or Sin Cheng Market. Alternatively, you can visit Ta Phin village of the Red Dzao ethnic people, Taphin Cave and the small hamlet of the Black H'mong people. In the evening, you'll take the train from Lao Cai back to Hanoi. This is the end of your Sapa hiking tour.
