You'll be met at the airport by your friendly driver who will drive you to Shangri La Golf Resort Hambantota, where you'll be staying for the duration of your trip. The journey will take around 4-5 hours with regular stops to stretch your legs. Once you reach the hotel, you'll be able to check-in and relax after your long journey. Today, you'll begin your three-day golfing holiday. After fuelling up on the delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel, you'll be out early on to the course to enjoy this premier facility. For those wishing to partake in other activities, the Yala National Park is located just an hour away from the hotel where a safari will give you the chance to see mass elephant gatherings and hopefully spot leopard along with 44 other mammals species in residence.

Day Two of Golfing

Today, after getting familiar with this five-star course yesterday, you'll once again step out onto the course to try your swing among the beautiful lush scenery and accompanied by stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Alternatively, if you don't wish to play golf today, Bundala National Park is located just a short 20-minute drive away. The park is home to over 197 species of birds including mass gatherings of greater flamingos and other winter migratory birds.

Day Three of Golfing

Today marks your final day of playing golf at the wonderful Shangri-La Resort. Today is your day to give it your full power and apply the lessons you have learnt on the course from the previous two days. If you don't wish to spend your whole day golfing, Mirijjawila Botanical Gardens are located just a short drive away from the hotel. It was the first botanical garden to the built in a dry zone of Sri Lanka, protecting the dry zone flora as well as provide training on floriculture and botany.

Today, after one last delicious buffet breakfast at the wonderful Shangri La Golf Resort Hambantota, you'll check out and head towards the airport.
