Welcome to your Sri Lanka one week itinerary! A private driver will collect you from the airport and take you on a scenic drive to the city of Kandy - set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake, which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional cultural dance show.

Today brings a trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens where you can see beautifully kept flowers and vegetation native to Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, visit the Ramboda Waterfall viewpoint, the cascading water is a sight to behold. Drive to Nuwara Eliya which is a city in the hill country of the central province. Its name means "city on the plain" or "city of light". Have a tour around Lake Gregory which is surrounded by lush scenery and a fresh mountain breeze.

After breakfast, you'll take the road to the south of the country, where you will pass through the wide Ravana Falls and see the water gushing down a concave rock. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park and is home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species. It contains the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, as well as Asian elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted deer and crocodiles.

Drive to Hummanaya Blow Hole in the morning. Visit Galle Dutch Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the bay of Galle on the southwest coast. Continuing further south, you'll reach Bentota, a serene white sandy beach. There are a plethora of activities to indulge in here such as snorkelling, sailing, diving or canoeing. Relax at the hotel swimming pool or enjoy some beach time in the afternoon.
