In the morning head to the railway station in Fort and board a train to Kandy. The train journey will take around three hours, and passes through some of the most scenic countryside in Sri Lanka. Once you arrive in Kandy, a driver will collect you and take you to a hotel for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, an important religious site for Buddhists. In the evening you can enjoy a Kandyan performance that showcases rich culture and traditions through dance.

The Kandy to Nanu Oya train journey takes you on a picturesque ride through some beautiful highland countryside areas where you will come across vast verdant tea plantations, misty mountains and towering waterfalls. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to explore the quaint colonial town of Nuwara Eliya, which was favoured by the British for its cooler climate. Here you will find rolling green hills, cottage houses and typical English country farms.

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, a driver will transfer you to the train station in Nanu Oya. Here you will catch a train to your next destination: Ella. Along the way, you will be treated with stunning views of the countryside and the surrounding nature. Upon arrival in Ella, a private chauffeur will transfer you to your hotel. You have the afternoon free to relax at your accommodation or explore Ella at your leisure.

Spend the day exploring Ella’s most interesting sights. In the morning you will go on a hike to Little Adam's Peak, a relatively easy climb, where you will pass through bright green tea fields and will be treated to some spectacular views at the top. After, visit the historic Nine Arches Bridge to learn more about the fascinating story of its construction. End your hike at the Demodara railway station with its unique loop-over track design.

This morning stop for a visit at Ravana Falls, that are named after an Indian epic poem, Ramayana. After lunch, a driver will take you to Yala National Park to enjoy a three-hour safari. Get a chance to see the famous Sri Lankan leopards, indigenous wild water buffalo and large herds of native elephants. The park is also home to many other species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates.

Today you will spend some time relaxing at the beach. Mirissa is a crescent-shaped beach and when laying on the smooth sands you can see the beach curving outwards on either side, giving the impression that you are laying on a far away, deserted palm covered island. The beach is quietly located in the far eastern end of Weligama Bay and is now famous around the world, as it once formed part of the undiscovered natural treasures of Sri Lanka.

Early this morning you will go on an exciting whale watching tour. During five hours, you will spend time on a boat with a naturalist that will explain more about these beautiful creatures and show you how to identify the different species. After the tour, you will hop on a train to go to Bentota, a small town known for its stunning beaches and tranquil atmosphere.
