Today, you can explore Hue in your own time. Hue remains a tranquil, conservative city and owes its charm to its location on the Perfume River. It was the capital of the Nguyen emperors from 1802 to 1945. The glories of Imperial Vietnam still resonate, even though many of its finest buildings were destroyed, the city’s temples and landmarks are national treasures.

Start the day with a beautiful dragon boat trip along Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Then, visit the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City – once the Emperor's private residence. The Imperial Citadel gives you a better understanding of the beauty of Vietnamese Royal architecture and culture. In the afternoon, visit Emperor Ming Mang and Khai Dinh tombs which are the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty.

After breakfast, drive to a traditional craft village and learn about Truc Chi, an old art form, making paper from bamboo. Late afternoon we start the food tour, where you can try specialities like water fern cake. On Han Mac Tu street you can enjoy clam dishes with rice or noodles and a special shrimp sauce. Crossing Trang Tien Bridge, to Dong Ba market you'll try grilled pork vermicelli or beef noodle soup. Then, finish this culinary trip on Thuong Tu where you'll try Hue's pancakes.

In the morning, we will drive to Hoi An, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-east Asian trading port from the 15th to 19th century. Along the way, stop at Hai Van Pass to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Then, arrive in Danang city to visit the Cham Museum and the famous Marble Mountains. Arrive in Hoi An, check-in your hotel and take part in a walking tour around the ancient town.

After breakfast, take a visit to My Son Holy Land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South-east Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century. Today is yours to enjoy, you can spend it surfing or just relax on one of Vietnam's best beaches with beautiful white sand. You'll have the option to visit Vietnam's largest Cao Dai Temple. Caodaism is a uniquely Vietnamese religion, founded in the early 1920s based on the main religions of the East and West. The building is a combination of Neo-Gothic, Baroque and Oriental design and is very ornately decorated.

Son Tra Mountain is a breathtaking national park, 693 metres above sea level. The winding roads act as a gateway to the jungle where you may spot the rare red-faced monkeys. Linh Ung Pagoda, the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Southeast Asia dominated the mountains landscape. You'll also have the option of visiting Phap Lam Pagoda.

You'll have free time in Hoi An until your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, your tour guide and driver will greet and escort you to your hotel and help with your check-in. In the evening, explore Saigon city by night by vintage Vespa scooter. It is fun and also makes you feel like back in the 1950s. The tour is not only riding vintage Vespa to explore the city, but also sharing the unique lifestyle of locals.

In the morning, a one hour drive to visit the incredible Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, back to the city to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, fine examples of classical French colonial architecture and, then to the War Remnants Museum, finishing the day at the bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Today is our exploration of the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and stop on the way to visit various craft villages to see how to make rice paper. You'll continue to cruise through the coconut jungle to visit local workshops to learn how coconut candy and souvenirs are made. Get on a tuk-tuk or take a bike ride of 3 kilometres and travel along the narrow shady village roads to visit fruit orchards. After, you will enjoy a delicious local lunch at an ancient house.

In the morning, you will take a boat cruise to see the Cai Rang Floating Market, the highlight of any Vietnam tour, where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and see the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals. Then, continue to visit an organic tropical fruit orchard and have lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City.
