After breakfast, you'll depart for Halong City, which is 175 km northeast of Hanoi and it takes about 4 hours to get there. Halong Bay is recognised as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. You'll arrive Halong wharf at noon and embark on the Golden Cruise - sit near the window or on the upper sundeck to admire the scenery whilst having lunch. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Surprise Cave and Soi Sim Beach before heading back to the junk for dinner and a spot of squid fishing.

After a leisurely breakfast, you'll take a small bamboo boat or kayak to visit the Luon Caves. Passing through the entrance, you come across a tranquil lake surrounded by limestone mountain. You'll then head back to the junk to check out and have an early lunch before travelling to the mainland, where the bus will return you to Hanoi for your dinner in a local restaurant and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the 300-kilometre road trip to Sapa in the north of Vietnam. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll trek to Cat Cat Village, which is nestled in a beautiful valley about three kilometres from Sapa Town. Cat Cat -the old village of ethnic people- attracts tourists from all over the world for its distinctive customs and practices which have been lost apart from in these unique villages. In the evening, you'll enjoy Sapa's nightlife.

After breakfast, you'll hop on your bike to Y Linh Ho village and Lao Chai Village in the beautiful Sapa Valley. When you arrive, you will have the chance to meet and talk with the Black Hmong people wearing their clothes dyed navy. You'll get hands-on helping with preparing lunch at a local house and sharing with the family. After lunch, you'll continue biking to Ta Van to see the Ancient Stone Site before heading back to Sapa. End your adventurous day by hiking to Dragons Jaw.

After breakfast, a driver will take you to the cable car at Fansipan Peak, the tallest mountain in Vietnam. With an altitude of 3,143 metres above sea level, the mountain is located in the centre of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range. The flora is relatively diverse in Fansipan; the mountain is to be approved as one of the very few eco-tourist spots in Vietnam. Have lunch at a local restaurant before taking a private car transfer back to Hanoi where you will enjoy a lovely dinner.

This morning, you'll enjoy some shopping before transferring to the airport for a short flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up at Da Nang airport and take you to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You'll then drive to the Marble Mountains, named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). Afterwards, you'll transfer to Hoi An to your luxury hotel and the rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy however you wish.

After breakfast, you'll visit My Son Sanctuary, a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed by the Kings of Champa. You'll then have lunch at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, followed by a visit to Quan Cong Temple, the Old House of Tan Ky, the Japanese Covered Bridge and then you can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. After dinner, you can take in the nightlife of the vibrant ancient town admiring the boats on the river and the lanterns all around.

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the wharf for a boat cruise to Cu Lao Cham island. The small group of 8 islands was recognised by UNESCO as a biosphere area. Upon arrival, you'll explore the village and market and get ready to snorkel the clear waters with its diverse undersea world. A seafood lunch will be served followed by more time for water activities or you can choose to relax on the beach. You'll return to Hoi An for swimming at Cua Dai Beach or you can head into town for a stroll.

Continue your Vietnam north to south tour today by cycling to a local farm in the charming little village of Tra Que. Here, you'll talk to the farmers, join in preparing the land and fertilising it with seaweed from the local lake. You'll enjoy a hands-on experience helping to prepare some local dishes with your local chef and enjoy the very "efforts" that you have cooked straight after. Afterwards, you'll leave Hoi An and head to Hue, your next destination.

Today, you will be taken on a full day tour of Hue to take in the main sights. An important centre for Vietnam and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Imperial city of Hue has plenty to explore, from amazing citadels to royal tombs such as Minh Mang and Tu Duc. After lunch, you'll take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant, followed by a walk through the night market.

Today, you learn about the vanished Vietnamese feudal empire and visit the tomb of Khai Dinh and the Nam Giao Esplanade. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll take a gentle stroll around the Hue Garden Houses and maybe do some souvenir shopping at Dong Ba Market before taking a short flight to Saigon. Upon arriving in Saigon, you'll check into your hotel in the city centre before enjoying an authentic dinner at a local restaurant.

This morning, you will visit the tunnels of Cu Chi, which are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in South Vietnam. The tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam war. After lunch, you'll visit the Reunification Palace, the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, then to Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, perhaps the grandest one in all of Southeast Asia.

Today, you'll spend another day exploring Saigon. Head out after breakfast, you'll visit the main sights including the War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market, the Saigon Opera House and District 5's Chinatown with its temple and buzzing atmosphere. In the late afternoon, you'll enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show at the Golden Theatre. Throughout the day, lunch and dinner will be served in wonderful local restaurants.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive to My Tho, located near the Mekong Delta. Here, you'll take an interesting boat journey to Unicorn Island to visit a bee farm. Then, you'll change to smaller rowing boats to glide along the canals to the delicious smells of the coconut candy factory. For lunch, you'll try the local speciality "Tai Tuong". Back on the mainland, you'll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the best-known pagodas in the region before heading back to Saigon.

After breakfast, take a private car to Phan Thiet. On arrival check in at one of the most beautiful resorts in the area. This afternoon you can enjoy your free time at one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Phan Thiet is a resort town along the South China Sea. With a long, palm-lined stretch of sand, it has ideal conditions for windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing and other water sports. Stay overnight in Phan Thiet.

Today, you can put on your swimmers, sunscreen and relax at the beautiful and long Phan Thiet beach. If you're looking to be a little more active, there is also a motorbike option to visit the white or red sand dunes of Mui Ne as well as Poshanu Temple. Hiring a motorbike and driving yourself is one of the best ways to see these areas as it allows you to stop whenever you want and take pictures.
