The National Archeological Museum is considered to be one of the greatest museums in the world. Its abundant collections, with more than 20,000 exhibits, provide a panorama of the Greek civilization from the beginnings of Prehistory to Late Antiquity. You will also enjoy a vehicle tour, passing by the Panathenaic Stadium, Zappeion, the monument of the Unknown Soldier and more.

Today, your rental car will be dropped off at your hotel ready for your adventure over the next ten days. You will then make the journey to Nafplio, your next destination. The breathtaking castle town of Monemvasia sits amongst the most impressive places in Greece. On the southeastern side of the Peloponnese, Monemvasia is a stunning castle town that was entirely carved from the backside of a giant sea rock during the medieval times.

Today, you'll travel from Monemvasia to Mani. The journey will only take two hours and once you arrive, you'll have the rest of the day to enjoy Mani, often referred to as Europe's hidden coast. Mani is known by few but in fact, offers a more authentic Greek holiday experience when compared to the popular islands in the south. It is home to pretty coastal villages and a rugged coastline to explore.

The town is a refreshing oasis from the busier towns and cities of mainland Greece and is the perfect place to spend a day or just a few hours.

Today, you have the entire day free to spend as you wish. You may want to spend the day wandering around Galaxidi, admiring the fine stone mansions which were a product of the town's history as a successful shipbuilding town. The harbour is lined with cafes, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the catch of the day. You can also take an optional tour of the Delphi Archaeological Site, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece.
