5-Day Classical Greece: Nafplion, Olympia & Delphi

Today, you'll leave Athens by the coastal road and head to the Corinth Canal. You'll then drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then, you'll proceed to the town of Nauplion and continue on to the Archaeological Site of Mycenae and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then, you'll leave for Olympia driving through the Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis.

In the morning, you'll tour the Ancient Olympia Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum with your local guide. Then, you'll hop in the car and drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia to the magnificent bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. You'll pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea before you arrive in Delphi in time for dinner.

In the morning, you'll visit the Delphi Archaeological Site and the Museum with your local guide. You'll then have some free time in Delphi before departing and driving through the village of Arachova, renowned for its colourful rugs and carpets. You'll return to Athens via Levadia and Thebes. You'll arrive in the later afternoon/early evening and have the rest of your day free to enjoy your final night in Athens.
