Customisable Itinerary
4.3 • 2 travellers have booked with Mario F.

Trip Overview

Explore Italy's south and eastern parts in Puglia and Basilicata, two incredible hidden treasures and, thanks to them being of unparalleled beauty, it is an up-and-coming Italian holiday destination.

This trip combines Apulia and Basilicata with its regional capital of Matera, "the city of stones" being the 2019 European capital of culture, making an ideal choice for a cultural and beach Italian holiday.

Its southern portion, known as Salento, forms the high heel on the "boot" of Italy. The region extends as far north as Monte Gargano and is a very dry region, making it a reliable holiday destination for fine Italian weather.

Apulia's capital is Bari, which is known for its amazing architecture. However, the region's most notable destination is Alberobello - the idyllic town known for its fairytale-like Trulli houses.

Discover all the region's intriguing resorts on this exciting adventure!
